Introduction

Welcome to CounterStrat, operated by Mitch's Pretty Awesome Computer Things LLC, a company registered in the state of Wyoming (the "Company", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Counter Strat website and related services (collectively, the "Service").

Counter Strat is designed to assist Counter-Strike league competitors by providing valuable insights into their upcoming opponents, including map preferences, common lineups, and other strategic information. Our goal is to empower players and teams to make informed decisions and improve their competitive edge — helping you to get one step ahead of your opponent.

If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. In such cases, "you" and "your" will refer to the organization.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Counter Strat, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or guardian if you are considered a minor in your jurisdiction. If you are a parent or guardian permitting a minor to use the Service, you are responsible for all usage and activities by the minor.

We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting an updated version of the Terms on our website. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Description of Service

Counter Strat is a subscription-based service that provides insights designed to help Counter-Strike league competitors analyze their upcoming opponents. These insights may include opponent map preferences, common team lineups, and other strategic data points.

The Service offers multiple subscription tiers, each providing access to varying features. We reserve the right to modify, expand, or discontinue specific features or introduce new subscription tiers at our discretion.

While we make every effort to ensure that the data provided is accurate and up to date, we cannot guarantee its completeness or precision at all times. Data may occasionally be slightly inaccurate or delayed due to factors beyond our control. We are committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and will continuously strive to improve data reliability.

User Accounts

To access and use the Service, you are required to authenticate with OAuth using your Faceit account. We do not manage or require passwords as part of the authentication process. While Faceit OAuth is currently the only supported login method, we may expand authentication options to include additional OAuth providers in the future.

All accounts are strictly individual. While certain subscription tiers may grant access to a "team dashboard", the Service itself remains account-based and does not support shared or multi-user logins.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Faceit account (or any future OAuth account used to access the Service) and ensuring that your credentials are kept secure. We are not liable for unauthorized access resulting from compromised accounts.

Subscriptions and Payments

The Service is offered through a subscription model with monthly billing as the default. We may also provide discounted rates for users who choose to subscribe on an annual basis.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed through a third-party payment service provider. Accepted payment methods are determined by the provider and may include credit cards, debit cards, or other available options. By subscribing, you agree to comply with the payment provider's terms and policies.

Upgrades and Downgrades

Users may upgrade or downgrade their subscription at any time. Any changes will take effect immediately, and the appropriate prorated charges or credits will be applied for the remainder of the billing cycle.

Refunds

Refunds are offered solely at our discretion. If you are unsatisfied with your experience or believe you are entitled to a refund, you may contact us for review. We reserve the right to deny refund requests if we determine they are unwarranted or may be subject to abuse.

Prohibited Conduct

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Access, retrieve, or scrape data from the Service in an automated or unauthorized manner.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise tamper with the Service.
• Use the Service to engage in abusive, harassing, or harmful behavior toward other users or the Company.
• Share or resell your account access or distribute Service data to unauthorized parties.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable regulations.

Violations of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, terminate, or blacklist your account at any time if you are found to be abusing the Service or violating these Terms. Termination may occur without prior warning, and no refunds will be issued for terminated accounts. If your account is terminated, your subscription will be canceled, and you will lose access to the Service and its associated features.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive to provide accurate and reliable data, we make no guarantees regarding the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of the information provided. The Service is intended to help users analyze their opponents and improve their strategies, but we cannot guarantee that using the Service will result in improved competitive performance or success.

We are not responsible for any issues arising from the use or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to data errors, service interruptions, or any other technical issues. In no event shall the Company be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of profits, arising out of or in connection with the use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, any violation of these Terms, or any violation of applicable laws or regulations.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. We will also make reasonable efforts to comply with legal regulations as notified by other jurisdictions where applicable.
